The project STAR “Large Soluble Groups”, in which the invited speaker Adolfo Ballester Bolinches and the organizers Maria De Falco and Carmela Musella are involved, is funded by the University of Naples Federico II, by the Compagnia di San Paolo and by the Istituto Banco di Napoli – Fondazione.
The implementation of the work plan is in an advanced stage, and one of the main aims of the conference “Naples 2015, Conference in Group Theory and its Applications” is to disseminate the results obtained by the team project and to attract the interest of the community of group theorists on the problems studied in the context of the project.
The conference is organized also to create a bigger research network, in view of the steps following the startup phase.
